Welcome and thank you for visiting the Tri-County (AL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated’s website!

The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation established in 1946. The membership consists of more than 16,000 professional women of African descent in 292 chapters in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women committed to enriching, sustaining, and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.

The Tri-County (AL) chapter was chartered on June 12, 2010, as the 76th chapter in the Southern Area and the 273rd chapter in The Links, Incorporated. Since chartering, we have strived to provide award-winning programs in the tri-county areas of Jefferson, Shelby, and St. Clair counties in the great state of Alabama!

Each year, with the collective talents of our membership, which includes 47 influential, dynamic leaders, we volunteer over 3,000 hours of service to enrich the lives of individuals in our communities. We proudly support initiatives through our five (5) Program Facets: Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services.

We encourage you to navigate our website to learn more about our civic and community engagement. Additionally, we ask that you consider partnering with us to enhance our service footprint in the tri-county areas of Jefferson, Shelby, and St. Clair counties.

Yours in service,
